The brief

To help the manager reflect on her work and work practice and plan next steps.


My approach

We met to discuss her needs and what I could offer and agreed on regular supervision sessions. We negotiated a supervision contract and agreed a formal review of the process after every three sessions.


The outcome


At our regular reviews she identified the sessions as being stimulating, thought provoking, challenging and constructive. They helped her gain clarity and she always left with a plan to take things forward.


I supervised the manager for two years until she changed jobs.
